This because AI drivers had still tyre tbc files based on old Suspensions model. What was not correct, however, was AI driver behaviour. ISI prepared also new tyres TGM and TBC.but new TGM tyres where just included in my old F12015 Mod. Therefore, I made a new physics and suspension set, with some compromises, avoiding the new sub system in chassis, but respecting the new car-suspensions weight, like ISI made in last mods. This because car weight and inertias are now following new physical criteria, not still well balanced, in my opinion. the car is always spinning in unrealistic way. This new method may have advantages.but in my opinion is not yet properly set by ISI, since the last car models with this system ( F1 2012, Megane, etc ) are showing a strange physical behaviour: when You reach corners at high speed, and You suddenly brake. Therefore, I started the work for a new physics update for RF2, but I saw that in last mods ISI changed Suspensions-Chassis system.They made Suspensions with heavier wheels and spindles.but this changed a lot the balance of the physics file.Īs You know, last ISI files are made with new flex chassis ( in practical, chassis is divided in its inertia and weight parts values in Front and rear subbodies ). But, in RF2, using the TrackMap Plugin, I noticed that car was touching ground.
The main defect was in Physics.this Physics was great in RF1, featuring rear pull rod suspensions. Infact, I noticed in my previous version mod several defects.
